What water goes in the tank?

Tap water is fine in soft-water regions. If your kettle furs up, run distilled water in the steam tools too; scale closes steam vents faster than any other habit.

Do the irons switch themselves off?

Three of the four full steam irons do, once left motionless. The compact craft iron deliberately stays on, because quilters park it hot between seams.

What does the watt number actually change?

Recovery speed. More watts means the soleplate or the steam chamber climbs back to temperature faster between garments. For one shirt it hardly matters; for a basket it is the whole difference.

Will my tool work abroad?

The travel shelf runs on dual voltage, so yes with the right plug adapter. The full-size board irons are built for home mains; one clothing iron is marked 120V only in its title.

Why does your price differ from the live listing?
